Ok, I know its been made fun of before but really, look at this.

Ferrari California 2009-2010 Performance Chip

It clearly states, "more power for towing"

WTF tows with a Ferrari California? can you even mouth a hitch on one?

Every page is the exact same for every car/truck.

Do you have dyno sheets for other Ford vehicles that have the modular motors? Any other manufacturers?

These is no limits to towing, it will just increase power throughout the band.

Are there any towing weight limits when using your chip?

It is throughout the whole band you will see more power. It varies, but I imagine you will see 3-4MPG benefits when towing.

Thank you!

Terry,
Thanks for the quick reply. That's too bad. I was hoping to at least see a 5.4L 3V motor sheet. 35-40 hp and 3-4 MPG is impressive. Where does the power band end with the 5.4L 3V motor? Is the 3-4 MPG an average between city and highway or is it just highway? What about MPG increases when towing? Are there any towing weight limits when using your chip?

We will see 35-40 HP and 3-4 MPG. We do not have a dyno sheet for that 2009 F150.

Thank you!

Comments or Questions: I noted that you advertise "dyno proven results".

Would you please e-mail me the before and after dyno sheets for a 2009 F150 5.4L 4x4 (or similar) 5.4L 3V application?

Thanks.

i only started this because they have a ad at the top of the page.

By now (most) people should know its a scam and is only a resistor that plus into a sensor that throw the truck into running richer than it should.

I wouldn't do any business with them again. SLRMOTORSPORTS are thieves and they are running a scam.

key words: SLRMOTORSPORTS, chip, SLR
Sorry to hear that.....

Sure - the PCM is getting erroneous IAT data and is providing fuel delivery accordingly. The O2 sensors will only partially compensate.

Yes it does.

Remember the term, 'colder, denser air'?

The actual MASS of the air flowing into the engine intake is a function of both the velocity (measured by the MAF) as well as the air temperature (measured by the IAT).

It's funny how on the slr motorsports page it says for the f150 it will fit from 1990-2011. So your telling me that the chip will fit on a 5.0 then i could take it off and put it on a new ecoboost? Haha i feel bad for all the people that have bought this and don't know any better.

Look at the bright side - it's good for the ecomony - all those grenading engines need shops to fix them!

Hey they do have the cheapest price on a lambo chip. But if you had the money for a Lamborghini wouldn't you spend the money on the best live tune you could get?
