I just received my programer this morning and i bought it from a guy on here. i tried hooking it up and an error came up and it told me to call hypertech they told me that the guy had to set his truck back to stock with the programer. i dont think he owns the truck anymore. does anyone know any way around sending this back to the guy and just reseting the programer or something in that area. thanks

 

Call Hypertech or email them.........
They will have to help you.

 

they told me to reset it i would have to send it to them and it would be a $200 charge. im not willing to do that thats almost double what i payed the guy for it.

 

well unfortuantly you have no other choices, or you can continue to enjoy your paperweight




you can either

A: send the unit to hypertech and pay the fee to have it unlocked

B: find the truck and return it to stock...

 

Demand a refund - he obviously (fraudulently) sold you a bill of goods...

And - post a "Jeers" in here: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ch...ack-forum-121/. So everyone will know whom to avoid.

Finally, if you get no joy from the above - PM the Hypertech support guy on here ( 'Hypertech Suppo' or some such - search for it), and ask/plead if there is anything they can do to help in the name of good relations/customer service - this ain't yer fault).
