yup. just ordered it on the 24th, with 3 custom tunes. 87 performance, 87 economy and 93 performance tunes. i am hoping i get it before sept 6th since i am taking a vacation to PA so i can use it to see what gains i get on the highway. gonna be 2900 miles there and back so i want to use the performance tune to PA because i have heard of better mpgs with that too. then try out the 93 performace while im there, then try the 87 economy on the way back to see if the economy tune yields better mpgs than the 87 performance. CANT WAIT!!! also, anybody know where i can get some more of the SCT chrome plated badges? hopefully it comes with one but i want at least 3.

cool thanks. heck i couldnt even find them on scts website. then again that was on my ps3 and its web browser doesnt like certain websites sometimes. my computer sucks but i am on it right now so maybe ill take a look-see while im on it. my ps3 is wayy faster on the internet but like i said, doesnt like certain pages with flash or what have you. but thanks. if i cant find them on sct's site, ill email him.

 

youll love the xcal3. i felt a nice gain on my 2000. i got one emblem with it, but it turned black on my truck now haha. i really want an SCT decal. oh and ask Justin for a VMP sticker

 

Not big on decals on a truck, but those two look nice together.

 

What I thought was the pcm number is not. Just received a reply from Justin[VMP Tuning] and its not right. Can someone post an example or the number they sent it to get their programmer? Need it asap. 1998 Expedition

 

I believe what he needs is the box code on the door which is in pass. side front door hinge at least on the 97+ F150’s. Then you or a friend who has an Xcal3 needs to go and read your strategy and send that to him too.

 

WOW! What a difference this SCT tune made! I have used VMP before for a few other vehicles and have had great results...but this one is FANTASTIC!

The shifts are greatly improved, MPG's are still undetermined since I only have 100mi on it so far with the new tune.
Throttle respnse is dead on too!!!

the $400 for my xcal3 was the best money spent. every vehicle i own after this is going to have a programmer

 

raced a newer porsche and a 03-07 style duramax crew cab today. stayed right with the porsche until about 50mph, then he pulled away. the duramax was even till i shifted to 2nd, then i pulled away. got my tunes from justin a few weeks ago, only tried the 87 performance tune so far and i love it. cant wait to go back to PA to see how it does. hoping to go from a 16.9 to a 16.5 at least for the 1/4.
