just leave it alone, it will do just fine on the 91 octane tune using 93 octane

Mr. Moose;

If you insist, then .. did you search the manual? RTFM

Here ya go - page 23:

"Timing Adjustment

This timing option helps determine the final ignition timing based on
intended fuel octane rating. Modifying your timing may help improve fuel
economy as well as overall performance. However, choosing timing advance
that is too high might cause detonation (pinging), which may cause serious
harm to your engine. Lowering this value will not harm the engine but may
reduce performance and economy.

(Hint a good general rule is to increase timing .5 counts for every octane count you go up, i.e. if you are running 93 octane fuel in level three you could safely increase the timing 1.5 counts). "

Linky to manual - in case yer dawg ate yours ...

It is discernable, but by then the PCM is pulling timing aggressively, thereby lobotomizing yer performance.

WHich is why TJ said to leave it alone - if you are not sure about this, it's best to have a small octane buffer to ensure you do not run near incipient ping and incur the above issue.

Consistent, high-quality fuel is important as well. As is exemplary maintenance.
