help with Gryphon
I want to order a Gryphon for my truck but wait a while for custom tunes. How do I do that? I eventually want to get a CAI don't know what to do on the order form.
Order the Gryphon and in the drop down boxes that you choose the tunes from, select the "stock" levels. Fill in all the rest of the boxes with whatever values you know for your truck, gear ratio, tire size, etc. Since you don't have any mods yet I take it, just fill in the memo box that your truck is stock. You can order custom tunes at any time after you receive your Gryphon. For the custom tunes, all you would do is change the certain boxes that correspond with whatever mods, CAI, etc., and Bill will change those values from the previous stock values to new ones for your mods.
If you know the CAI part #, then yea you could. Bill researches and writes the tunes for your specific mods. So as long as you are going to get the CAI before you would have your tunes and are set on the one you want, go for it. I waited 2 months for my tune and just ordered 2 more so I'll have to wait again. It is well worth the wait though. 1 more thing, you are getting a Gryphon and not upgrading an Edge for a Gryphon right? If you were upgrading like I did, then the tunes will be on your Gryphon when you receive it. If you are purchasing the Gryphon for the first time then you will get the Gryphon first with canned tunes. Using the Gryphon you will find out what your truck's hex code is and then pass that on to PHP so they can make your custom tunes. Sorry if you might know some of this stuff already, I'm just trying to help you out man.
I went ahead and said I had a CAI and what custom tunes I wanted. Some of the stuff I know but thanks for the help I know they will take awhile but thats ok I like there stuff.
well the first time I sent it I put down a roush CAI. But corey emailed me back and said my order form was blank so this time I didn't put anything Im just going to wait.
