posted a while back about mpg with my vmp tuned sct x3 for the 2010 fx4 and ive got an update. loaded the mileage tune before going on a 280 mile drive from dallas to galveston. once i hit the highway i locked it at 64 mph for about 200 miles then just gunned it the rest of the way which included some stop and go driving in galveston and south houston. on that full 36 gallon tank i managed 15.2 mpg with the 275/65/20s and 20x9s. not too bad considering i was only getting 15.5 mpg stock. im sure i couldve gotten a little better if i wouldve stayed under 65 the whole way but that sure gets annoying after a few hours.

hadnt seen it till just now, but man is that impressive. 40hp and 30tq from a 4.6?! thats the same gain we see for the 5.4 right? makes me wonder about the transmission tuning though. had an issue with the tuner not loading the stock tune and after sitting around for 3 hours for them to rewrite the program so itd load, i hope i dont have to do it 3 more times.
