Datalogging xcal2 livelink6?

Just curious as to why I cannot get livelink 6 to work with my xcal2. Justin sent me the parameters he wants me to datalog with my lincoln and sent the file that works with livelink 6 and not livelink 5. Everytime i try it livelink runs for 10 seconds and then stops because it says no data gathered or something like that and it just stops.

Its possible the Xcal2 is not fully compatible with LL6 since its a discontinued product. You might have to use their older discontinued LL software.

Or Justin may have to write it so that it works with LL5

I agree with making sure the device's firmware is up to date. Also, you can call SCT technical support to help troubleshoot things like that. After all it is their products you're trying to get to work.

I just checked SCT's website and it says that Ford X2 datalog import is not supported in the 6.1 version of Live Link.

So.. bringing this back from the dead..

Just wondering what version you got to work with the Xcal2?

I was looking to download the software.. but not sure which one..

I thought about using this one

Live Link Data Logging Software for Ford XCalibrator 2 Devices Only
Application: XCalibrator 2 Flash Device
Current Version:3.41
Last Updated:07-17-2008
but its not compatible with windows Vista.

So, I guess I am going to try 4.30, just wanted to see how it worked out for you guys..
