Exclamation just ordered 3 tunes from troyer performance!

i just got off the phone with them and let me tell ya, excellent service! very nice people.
i was advised to ditch the JLT intake and put the stocker back on untill i get my tunes. then go with another intake. but, i forgot to ask if they have a tune for the GOTSS MOD? does anyone know if they do?
i have a SCT XCAL3 i bought used along with the JLT intake not knowing the trouble i can/will have with the intake. i did notice a nice increase installing the intake though over the stocker...
i first installed the 87 CANNED tune with the stocker intake, nice power increase.
THEN, i added the JLT intake and switched the SCT programmer for the JLT intake. i didnt know it before hand but it had a setting for the intake. maybe someone bought the "package" deal (JLT intake and SCT together). i also bumped up the WOT fuel enrichment a few % and this made a big difference over stock and the CANNED tune with stock intake.
i ordered a 87 performance, 87 towing and 93 performance tune for the vehicle. it is a 2004 F150 with 5.4L.

so IF they have a tune for the GOTSS MOD, will i feel the increase like i did with the JLT intake compared to just the CANNED tune and stock un-modded intake?

I'm not sure about the 2004 5.4 and its GOTSS Mod, but I did the GOTSS Mod on my 97' 4.6 and noticed a slight increase in the mid range and passing. When I put my order in with Troyer and filled out the worksheets I put down that I did that for an In-take mod. When speaking with them on the phone they asked about it and I told them, they didn't say anything about taking the mod off and going back to stock while waiting for the tunes. They are well aware of what the GOTSS Mod is and probably have a rough clue (if not first hand experience) on what sort of changes it causes in your vehicle. Mike, the guy who does all of the tunes over at Troyer I'm sure can handle whatever is thrown his way, it doesn't have to be a specific brand of intake for him to tune for it.

I too have spoken to the Troyer staff and they are excellent at customer service as far as being very polite and answering their phones, giving and asking for vital information, ect. The only compliant I have is that I was originally quoted 8 weeks wait time for my tunes LAST SUMMER... called back this week and was told I had still been moving up the list the entire winter and was roughly 4 weeks away from my tunes being completed.
