Jet Chips Power Programmer...Any good?

Is a Jet Chips Power Programmer any good? I haven't ever heard of the brand and they are substantially cheaper than other tuners. Are they good?

If they are anything like their chips (which ARE crap), and I suspect they are - NO.

Don't by programmers, or tunes, based upon price alone.

Best bet = familiarize yerself with the excellent feature on this site ....

They're just like Superchips and Hypertechs, utter garbage. Do not skimp on a mod that is going to effect every aspect of your truck.

Nothing wrong with Superchips. Great canned tunes for stock trucks.

Yeah...i'm not like gonna professionally race my truck or anything. I just want to beable to tell it got a tune and change my tire size, adjust shift firmness. I'm not really going for the gryphon...just dont think i need all that. My friend put a hypertech on his 04 gt and he could sort of tell a difference but then he took it off for some reason, an't remember why, but it ran like ****, it was slower than it had been. I had just never heard of it and was wondering if it was like superchips or another well known brand? I wouldn't say it's cheap. With tax, it's about $400.

You can find a used Edge in the classifieds for like $300. It also has the display that shows all of the engine/transmission readings.

Thanks for the compliment man.

Well i don't know what it was that killed the power when i put it on? But could def tell when i took it off that the power was back. I was told by someone on this site to make sure it's 2.5 I/O.
