Thumbs down Power Hungry Performance.... bad choice!

So I ordered a custom tune for my sct tuner from php the first week of december after it took me about couple dozen phone calls, no answer. About 5 emails later they respond how to order for sct right now, order and did something wrong they respond right away. Then a month goes by no custom tune, called at least 50 60 times no answer over the past month and its been 2 weeks. Sent 3 emails and no respones..... But when I ordered they responded about getting money but after that they dont care. I found a couple other people say the same thing on another site, so im asking for my refund because I cant wait any longer. Got my money 2 months ago and no tune. Waste of money when I can pay just a little bit more and have it in 5-10 days. Anyone else on her have this issue???

Being 100% neutral here....have you tried their forum? I have not personally tried to contact them, but I have heard by phone is almost impossible due to their work volume verses man power. From my understanding Bill spends almost all his time devoted to the technical side leaving only Corey to handle orders/customer service. I believe orders are sent to one queue as other questions go to another. Also from what I have heard all custom tunes take 4-6 weeks. Regardless of what happens I wish you the best of luck.

I did finally post something on their forums after I found them because the main link to the forums on their website doesnt work and I sent that in my first or 2nd email letting them know and that wasnt fixed yet either. Im just trying to get a refund and I guess call another custom tuner up and one that answers the phone fast and get a promise date I will go with now.

Straight off their forum:
January 25 - Bill and Corey are back in the office, and it's business as usual -- our phone hours are listed on our website. As you can imagine, we'll be spending the majority of this week (and probably next week, too!) playing catch up.

Our first priority is to process and ship orders that were received over the last few weeks.

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us during this difficult time for our family -- whether it be with prayers, cards, phone calls, or simply with your extraordinary patience. We are so grateful and feel tremendously blessed.
Forgot about Corey's sister passing. If you decide to hang in there a little longer you may have better luck.

Well, i know they had a few family medical issues that took them out of the office for most of January, and if you pair that with the holidays, there was a lot of down time.

so far i had a great experience with them, just waiting for my tunes! ive heard its WELL worth the wait, so I dont mind. I was under the impression it took 6 weeks anyway, so I'm not in too much of a rush. Plus, everyone has problems to deal with, just sucks that they are the best of the best and they have a ton of orders to catch up on.

good luck either way man.

I waited at least that long for my PHP tunes but it was well worth it in the end. I used another well known SCT tuner that has a quick turn-around and personally I was not at all satisfied with his tunes. Gave him a chance to fix it (tried to contact him several times) and never was responded too. My point is that you shouldn't base your decision solely on the length of time between the date of your order and the day your custom tunes are ready.

Hasn't PHP been gone all month due to a medical emergency? Last I heard they were supposed to return around the 25th of January but I'm not 100% sure. That could be the reason for your delayed order.

Im not trying to turn people away from them or say they are bad but I wish someone would respond to a email or phone call just to let people know why its taking so long. If they emailed me back and said we have been having some issues I would just be like okay.

imho- to be a succesful buisiness you need two things:
1-a good product or a great service to sell
2-being good at being a business owner with excellent buisiness skills
w/o both of these-a buisiness will not flourish, they go hand in hand,ESPECIALLY IN A NON NECSSITY BUISINESS in today's bad economic times...

When I ordered a Gryphon and custom tunes for my old mans 03 F350 7.3L it took about 4 days to get the Gryphon and then another 4 weeks to get the custom tunes. But they were WELL WORTH THE WAIT! (atleast for the his 7.3L)

Im glad someone else has noticed this on here. It seems like everyone on here thinks PHP is a god. Im not saying they don't offer good tunes but they are super slow and their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I cant believe they get so much praise on this site. Ive tried calling them off and on since October with no luck at all. Not to mention all of the e-mails I have sent with no response.
