What can i do?

I had my 01 f150 tuned by troyer performance with and xcal 2 programmer. I recently traded in my truck and i DID reset it back to stock so the tuner is unlocked. What can i do with my xcal 2 i dont want my $500 that i spent 1 year ago go to waste...

I will sell it for $175 shipped priority mail.

1. You can request new custom tunes for any OBD-II compliant Ford vehicle(1996+) from any reputable SCT custom tuning bidness.

2. VMP offers trade-ups to an Xcal3 or Livewire.

3. Keep it as a very expensive code reader.

4. Datalog any Ford vehicle using LiveLink.

5. You can try to sell it in the Classifieds - you WILL take a hit on that, though.

6. Give it to me 'cause I helped ya first

Well, you got as far as item #5 on the list.

So - that leaves you with item #6

You might try ebay. $175 isn't a bad price.

OP - I mentioned earlier about VMP's trade-up program:

From their site: http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index...parent=94&pg=1

Eligible tuning hardware and credit amounts:

Product Credit

SCT X3 $100
SCT Livewire $150
SCT X-Cal 2 $100
SCT X-Cal 1 $25
SCT 5500 or 6600 Chip $75
SCT USB Chipper $100
Diablo Predator $50

So - one option, if you wanted to get that GM product tuned. VMP also does GM Tuning with SCT products - you'd just need to specify the vehicle to get the correct model tuner.

Just a thought ...

So, I scanned my friend's GMC truck today and got a POS code. What's up with that?
