what is the best chip/programmer for an 05 f150 4x4 xlt screw?I know a programer can set for more hp and more mpg,but can you reset the speedometer for bigger tires and diff gears?I am new to programers I am use to old carbed 4x4s so anything you can tell me about them will help.

Check ou the 'sticky' --> https://www.f150online.com/forums/ch...unes-read.html Most discussed here are SCT, and EVO / Gryphon handhelds ... any of them will do what you asked. Custom tuning is preferred to the 'canned' generic tunes some of these devices ship with. Tuning companies: Troyer Performance, PHP, and VMP - again most discussed & used here... Look around here, do some readin' and post back any questions. :beers: |
Look at the SCT Xcal3 custom tuned by VMP Tuning.

Lots of great tuning options, adjustable parameters, datalogging options, and more! Check out the Trinity and Check out the Predator for the F150! |
