PHP Gryphon

Got my gryphon today and ran out to the truck and put it in...all it got to say is awesome I only set it on setting 1 and it seems like a different truck

I am planning on getting a Banks Ram air CAI & possibly their monster exhaust or Magnaflows.....then custom tunes from PHP

My question though is what setting should i use for just driving around town?

I run mine on level 2 with shifts at 5100,5100, and 4900. I use 89 octane with timing +.75 and WOT fuel 1.3. I love the performance I've gained, and also average between 16-19 mpg.

With canned tunes I ran the level 3 93 performance tune with 94 octane at +0.5 timing, +5,+5,+2 shifting.

Now that I have my custom tunes I run my 93 custom performance tune without modifications on 94 octane. Haven't tried the 87 custom performance tune yet.

Of course it all depends on your driving habbits. After I retrained myself on how to drive my truck with this kind of performance I love how I can drive normally but have the performance there when I want it.

Canned 93 performance mpg were 18-20.
Custom 93 performance mpg are 19-22.
The range is depending on how much I press the fun peddle.

The 93 is worth the extra gas money to me.

When i ran canned tunes, I ran level 3 all the time, about 30,000 miles. Level 2 fades pretty quickly above 1800 rpms and I needed the punch on the freeways and 2 lane roads. Level 2 is for towing and is ok for a lot of stop and go driving.
