well, I finally installed the Edge Evolution on my 2005 F-150 5.4L 3.73 2wd, now I have a problem, were to get the correct PAINT color to match the TAN interior? my truck has the Red Mattador/Gold combination, and the interior is TAN, so the dashboard has 2 different TAN colors and the BLACK stripe on the center were the stereo resides.

has anyone found the correct color match for the POD on the EDGE EVO?

 

It has been a long time, but some have done it. Try using search, see what it brings up

 

I have an 06 xlt with tan interior. I painted my Gryphon pod last week. The best I could figure - using ford's paint codes was the area that the pod should be would be dark pebble. (06 tan interiors have 3 colors - parchment, medium pebble and dark pebble. I spent $20 on a can of Dark Pebble Paint from Ford. They tell me it is now discontinued. It is pretty close, but is a bit more yellow toned and is slightly more glossy than the panel it is suppposed to match. It doesn't look bad, but I am fairly compulsive about my truck, so I am not completely satisfied.

I guess I can live w/ it. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.

 

please post a picture, I want to see how close is the mach on color... i'm too very compulsive/picky/**** about my truck (or any other way to descrive a person who cares about the cosmetic look of their truck) :o
