im bout to purchase a used edge tuner for my 04 fx4 and i asked the guy to turn it back to stock and he said he did. will the canned level 1-3 tunes go back to the normal settings? he said he messed with the shift points and timing, i would rather mes with that myself or just keep it the same. will i have to go "in" and change the settings he has on it? sorry if this is a dumb ? but im not too knowledged on these tuners. thanks for your help

 

If he returned it back to stock it will work fine. Since he tried and changed options you will want to load whatever level you want but do not choose the option to "load previous setting" in customize.

 

ok thanks for the help. one more question.. where to u get the edge software for updates? i figured since im buyin a used one i should update it incase the previous owner hasnt. thanks
