Are custom tunes ever tuned for alltitude? I live at 8,000 feet.

I can't speak for other tuners, but it's something WE like to know, as this is certainly taken into consideration!

i have that same questions because my truck runs okay where I live which is high altitude but when I go back to sea level places like TX and CA the truck runs great. So now that I live here I'm going to do the home pulls (dyno pulls because we don't have a dyno any where close for about 200 miles) and then I'm going to send off my info to see if Troyer can redo my tunes to fit the truck and location.

your dealer can actually do that to, mine was tuned for about 8000 feet when we got it new, and it didn't run right so we took it to the dealer they flashed it for 1500 and it is great.
