Edge Pod Paint For A XLT..........

So I did a search on here and came up with colors for the Lariats but nothing for a XLT. My XLT trim that the pod attaches to is kind of a mat charcoal gray, the factory pod color is lighter and metallic so it doesn't match very good. I went to the parts store and Home Depot and came up empty. Anyone found anything over the counter that matches or am I headed to the paint store to have it made up? Thanks.

I am in the same boat, only with a tan interior. Automotivetouchup.com seems to only have exterior colors. Any other suggestions?

Maybe a parts store like autozone. I have the tan interior too on my XLT so when I get my Gryphon eventually, I will have to paint it too.

My brother did his interior on his 03 flareside to match his outside and I think he had told me it was from automotive touch-up. He used an adhesion promoter and then the spray. I don't remember if he cleared it or not. YOu can use this site for that becuase if you read here it says for plastic part preparation. As long as you use an adhesion promoter you should be ok because it allows the paint to adhere better.

I just painted mine today. My limited internet research says that SEM is the best interior paint. (Google SEM Automotive Interior Paint) It is only available at body paint suppliers. I got a can today from a local wholesaler. He did't have the adhesion promoter so I went by Advance Auto Parts and got some Plastikote Adhesion Promoter. It looked like it had the same kind of ingredients. It worked great with the SEM paint. The bad news is that Medium Gray, which looks right on the color chart is WAY too light for my 1999 F-150 Graphite interior. SEM's Graphite looked too dark, but I think it would have been the right choice. I'll get some Graphite and re-do it.
