The Dr. Trans shudder stop I put in has actually made a huge difference. My truck was still having the issue after I installed the "new" trans and I have not even programmed the rig yet. I am a skeptic when it comes to the junk in a tube but I swear that this stuff has helped. My truck will no longer get confused around 40-50. It will either hold onto OD or shift down to 3rd right away. The shudder stop is a friction modifiyer for the trans fluid.

 

could i go in there and adjust shift firmess or adjust shift points or does that have nothing to do with my problem.

 

I don't think that is your problem. But you could certainly try.

 

what if I update edge? Its only 2 months old though

 

It did not help me at all, but it's completely your call. I think I need to put in new COPs is my problem.
