Is it worth it?

Have a 2004 f-150 4.6 with 355 gears. I ordered some 35x12.5x20 toyo open country m/t tires the other day and was wondering if it would be worth me spending the money on an edge evolution for power gains? I will probably by a used one more than likely.

Thanks in advance.

check out power hungry performance, they sell the gryphon, it's the edge only better, and it's the same price.

Well you're going to need a tuner anyways to correct your speedometer. I'd recommend checking out VMP Tuning. I love my Xcal3 with custom tunes. It really woke up my truck. There are quite a few people running VMP's tunes around here and really like them.

I would totally go with the programmer. Its a win-win. You get more power/better mpg's and to top the cake you get a correct speedo and the ability to monitor just about everything your engine is doing.

Also the ability to pull your DTC's is priceless!

I've been running mine for a year now and love it. Especially when I went with the 33's and lost some power the tuner took care of that and then some. You will not have any regrets but one, "Why didn't I do this sooner!!!!".

BTW, I have a Gryphon.
