good start/ suggestions?

Just joined up on the forum, but I've been looking over it for a couple of weeks now.

What I got:
-GOTTS mod
-Silencer removal
-drop in k&n filter (I know its basic, I just wanted to list it.)
-front and rear bumper replacements from ranch hand

What I'm getting next paycheck
-Shift kit from Transgo
-SCT programmer from troyer performance
-Magnaflow Exhaust (getting for free dollars from my friend, he said it was too loud- lol!)

I got all the aesthetic stuff first paycheck so now Im wanting to go performance. Am I on the right track or any other suggestions?

Sounds like you are headed in the right direction.
Wait on the shift kit and see how you like the tuner first.
First you'll get canned tunes. Then you'll get the customs(note: sometimes they take some time to write). The exhaust can be done at anytime.

Would the canned tunes be good for my tranny like the shift kit would? Also, wouldn't I want to put the exhaust on first so I can tell troyer that I have exhaust for when they make my custom tunes?

Thanks for the reply

The exhuast, from cat back, does not require specific tuning. So that would not be a problem.

on another note: have yall had good experiences with shift kits at all? or does the tuner pretty much just eliminate the need for it?

They are not worth the effort to install versus a tuning device.
