SCT Livewire or Gryphon?

Am interested in getting a tuner for my truck but haven't figured out which one to get. My buddy has an SCT on his Mustang and says that is the way I should go (Livewire from Troyer), but have seen on a few posts to go with the edge reprogrammed (Gryphon). Any input on this from people with either one of these tuners would be appreciated

You may have to wait for customz awhile longer from troyer(?) then php, but either of their tunes are worth the wait. Both are great companies to work with. There are also a couple of other tuners that work with sct lw vmp+5star. Turn around for upgrade from edge to gryphon at php is about 2-4 weeks.

I have both the Livewire and the Gryphon. I have VMP tunes and have been waiting for Troyer tunes for 6 months now.

The VMP tunes came in about 3 weeks and the PHP tunes for the Gryphon came in about 3-4 months.

Lasota racing is also another possible tuning option for the SCT as well. Not sure if they do the Livewire, but they actually trained alot of the current people who tune SCT devices.

As for which one i like best I have to say I like the tunes on my Gryphon the best. Whenever my Troyer tunes ever arrive I will be able to provide actual numbers..should they arrive before I am 90.

I think it is just a personal preference as to how you like the hardware and who wou want writting the tunes. I am very happy with PHP and the Gryphon. I suspect I would be just as happy with the Livewire and Troyer's tunes.

I went with VMP tunes on my SCT device, I got my tunes in less than 2 weeks and I had great service. To this day I love the tunes and I got them 10 months ago. Best thing I've done to the truck. But it does come down to personal preference. I chose VMP because of the recent hype of his tunes at the time and because of the short wait time.
