First go custom over canned Others will give the pros of who to go with on writing your custom tune.

try an xcal3 from PHP, Troyer or VMP

I have used both Troyer and VMP and have had great results with both

I just bought a VMP tuned Xcal3 recently. I researched it for a couple of months before deciding. There was no way I was going to wait months for a tuner from Troyer. I couldn't be happier with the service from Justin @ VMP and the tunes. My truck is a monster now !! My 5 year old is always telling me to floor it now so he can hear the exhaust !!

Agreed FordRacer2005, I don't want to drop that amount of money for a tuner and not see the real benefits from it for months, well that and VMP Tuning is about 2 hrs away from me, so it made the decision real easy, Justin is QUICK with questions and service, couldn't be more satisfied(Took him a day to get all the tunes back to me, guess he wasn't busy when I placed the order), and I LOVE the new power the X3 has unlocked from my 04 4.6 L.

Damn, you should have him tune it on the dyno it if you're so close.

I really wish I could get a dyno tune from them. The power is addicting.

I placed my order online after talking to him on the phone(he was busy that day). He responded that day to the email, and the next day telling me the info on the shipment and what not.

My experience with over the internet order was smooth, as Im sure your's will be if you choose that route, but make sure to read all the directions and stuff that go along with ordering it, like order #'s in the email and strategy code if you can get it, etc.

^ What Tarajerame said =p

But regardless here is the link to the site/Xcal3:

Here

You'd be spending roughly $430ish Id guess including shipping(including custom tunes), I paid to have my expedited though so I dropped an extra 50$ =/
