2000 4.6L Which Programer/Help

Hi, I have a 2000 F-150 4X4 4.6 litre. I want to get a programer, don't really want anything on my dash. Hoping it will give me a little more power for towing a 3500 lb trailer, and better economy around town. Was thinking superchips? Any thoughts on this?
Thanks

For that, I would go with an Xcal3 tuned by Troyer Performance.

The Edge offered above is a good unit. You can get custom tunes from PHP later on, if you want them.

you want a custom tune expecially for towing

I'd get like an Xcal2 or Xcal3 with a 91-93 octane towing tune and a performance or mileage tune with the same octane

Check out www.VMPTuning.com !! I just got my custom tuned Xcal3 from there not too long ago. I'm in love with my truck again. I hear good things about Troyer Performance but there was no way I was going to wait MONTHS to get it. VMP delivered in a couple weeks.

VMP, PHP, Troyer all offer great tuning, I went with VMP for the same reason stated above by FordRacer, I didnt see a point in waiting weeks-months for something that cost so much, and VMP delivered on that part in a day, got my custom tunes to me within 24 hours and my tuner in 2 days(I live close to their location though).

I ordered the Xcal 3, definitely was wanting an Edge product/Gryphon from PHP because I wanted something to mount on the dash, but overall Im very satisfied with my purchase. My truck is a whole different beast now.
