Sounds like a jet

To me mine sounds like i have a turbo with a blow off valve or a jet engine. When i hammer on the gas at like 50-60 it acts like it is sucking alot of air and then it shifts.....seemed to start when I tuned it with a tuner.

anyone else noticing this problem?

OK got my info filled in...sorry Obviously, i am new.

I put it in this forum thinking maybe the tuner (Hypertech) I used to change my RPMs, shift points, tire height, top speed, etc had something to do with this problem.

I really dont know much baout the hypertech power programmer so I have been experimenting.

After i changed the settings up by 200 on the shifts it started to do it. Its right before it downshifts is wheni t makes the sounds. Almost like its sucking air, then it makes th sounds then shifts.

Like i said its always when I am passing someone and I really get on it at like 55-65 mph range.

Part of the noise is actually from air. The combination of you mashing it and the drone of the cai. Opens the tbi up and let's more air into the engine. Why at the speed you posted "?". Who knows maybe the tranny is dropping all the way down to 2nd
