1. Anytime under heavy acceleration the tranny will shift agressive. What do you mean by jerky?

2. What way on the 5mph? + or -? Did you do the "squish factor"?

Why would you want the mushy shift? That makes them wear out sooner.

I love the snap. I was at +12 on the pressure for the first 2 shifts. Would scratch rubber on the first one. I like the slippage out of it. I used to put shift kits in all the Mustangs I would build, run around town chirping the tires between red lights.

For your first question... I don't know the stock settings... but... I didn't like the stock shift feel (too soft) and I originally was concerned with the quick/harder Edge shift settings. You get used to it very quickly and unless you are under heavy acceleration, it isn't bad. I figure if it actually helps the tranny last longer and helps performance, I will stick with it unless there is an issue.

For the second question... you need to do a custom program when setting your power level (I also use Level 2 towing for regular driving). I found a calculator online that gives the circumference in mm based on the tire size and I entered your tire size... it came back with 2586 which you should use in the custom configuration. (http://www.ajdesigner.com/fl_tire/tire.php). You might also have to change your gear ratio. Those 2 items together will make your speedo correct... or VERY close to it.

I have the 275/55/20 on my truck with the 3.55 gears and after updating the custom program with that info. My speedo is within .5 to 1 mph.

yeah you should set the shift firmness pretty firm it will save your tranny!!
and your edge manual gives you the formula to calculate tiresize so you can program it in a adjust your speedo!!
