i just bought an 09 fx4 (5.4l) but im used to the power that my 05 mustang had so i want to bump up the hp a little.....i restored my mustang to stock and now have my xcal2 sitting in the garage,,i see alot of guys have the xcal 3 on here and i was wondering if i sent out my xcal2 to to be custom tuned will it work for my fx4....also i know it got rid of the throttle lag in the stang....will it help in these trucks as well..do they make cai yet for these trucks bc i cant find them anywhere

 

yes it will work. I reccomend dyno tuning it.

 

i know with my mustang i sent out the xcal2 to brenspeed.com and he has a mule at the shop that that he puts together to replicate your same car so he can tune it there...for example he puts the intake and exhaust that i have on his car...asks for my engine code and tunes the xcal2 to your exact setup...do these f150 shops do the same..can i get it sent out and give them my info or have them send me a tune via email?

 

You need to call Troyer Performance and talk with them. They are one of best tuners of the Xcal units, for these trucks.
