Need bad @$$ setup for Edge asap!!!

So I'll be going to the track this Saturday to race my buddy who swears up and down that he can beat my truck. I got some money riding on this race and just need the best setup for my Edge programmer for a 1/4 mile run. I would mess around with it myself but to afraid of messin up something. Parts I have on it right now is a K&N intake, Flowmaster catback exhaust, and of course the chip. Tire size is 305/40R 22 for the squish factor thing? Any help would be much appreciated.

Take out all of the weight that you can. Swap to some street tires on like 17s or 18s too lol. 22s will have a ton of rolling mass.

So your going up against this:

"A 3.5-liter V6 engine adds driving excitement to an upcoming Fusion Sport model. The 3.5-liter V6 is rated at 263 horsepower and 250 foot-pounds of torque and is available only with the six-speed automatic. Ford says the 2010 Fusion Sport will cover the 0-60 sprint in seven seconds flat with equal or better fuel economy than the leading competitors."

You might consider a super charger.

7 seconds is like a 15-16 second quarter mile unless that cars got alot of top end. Either way I dont think you can beat it on 22s with a canned tune. AZMidget with bolt ons and 22's with a quad cab ran a 16.3 at firebird.

we rented one of these from ford and i can voch for the 0-60 in 7 seconds or better holy crap that thing was fast.

take out your back seat your spare tire and the passenger seat up front. put alot of PSI in the front tire and about 30-35 psi in the rears.

go get a differnt muffler then the slowmaster

sorry to say but i think you just lost your money...

is ur truck 4x4? if ya loose tell him double or nothing....threw the mud

My truck runs a 15.8 in a 1/4 mile, and that's with the 22's and canned tune.

run level 3 with some 93 octane, change your tire size, by going into pegasus, and typing in your tire size and using the 5% squish it has there already put in...

some one on here, i think it was bluejay, put these numbers up for settings to use...

"If I were you, I would set it as follows for shifts 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4.

WOT shift points: 5000, 5000, 4800
Shift Pressure: +12, +12, +9
Max speed 110
Max rpms: 5400
WOT Fuel: 1.6
Set the gears and tires. "

try it before you race to make sure all is well...

good luck

If you've got the time and money, upgrade the EDGE to a Gryphon and gets some custom tunes, cut the slowmaster off and weld something better on, swap the wheels for some stock 17's, and maybe sabotage the other car.
