Edge Evolution

Bought mine today from autoanything.com and expecting it tomorrow I'm excited. Any suggestions on Cold Air Intakes? I cut my airbox so the K&N is exposed and was wondering if a cold air intake offers better performance than that?

It would help if you listed what engine and year you have. The Edge is programmed ffor a stock intake, so the CAI will do little for you, you need custom tunes. You should have gotten the Gryphon. Also, if you have a 2004 or 2005, you run a big chance of running lean with a CAI without custom tunes as these trucks came from the factory in a near lean condition. Additionally, you can modify your stock intake as shown in the How To section and get almost the same benefit as a CAI.

Yes, it will help, for sure. And, with that year, you don't normally risk running lean with a cold air intake. You should still look at the Gotts Mod in the How tos.
