truck runs bad after updating xcal3

I purchased a tuner and ran it for a week, no problem. Saw on the sct website updates were available, so I returned it to stock, no problem. updated the tuner firmware and loaded the updates, no problem. Reinstalled tuner and set parameters and took it for a test drive, problems, it wouldn't make it around the block!

I returned it to stock.

Any suggestions?

I am going to do some research in the meantime.

There are two part #'s for the xcal 3 for ford trucks. 1 has a update for the part # that will hold custom tunes only and the other will hold three canned tunes and 3 custom tunes. Both have differnt downloads and updates. But you could have not gotten the complete download on to the programmer. I would also give sct a call......if your truck ran good before why would you want to update it? If if ain't broke why fix it? That is the biggest mistake people do with most programmers, they see an update and get download happy More than likely you down loaded the wrong software/update.
