Gryphon Tuner and Speedo

So I've been reading about the Gryphon tuner and from what I understand, you can change the gearing and the tire size in the tuner to correct for the difference and correct the speedometer. I also know that the tuner has different display choices, one of which being MPH.

What I'm wondering is, when people say that the tuner will correct the speedo, does that mean it will show the correct speed and miles traveled on the tuner, on the actual truck dash, or on both?

If I want the original dash to show the correct speed and mileage, will I need to take the truck to the dealership to get reprogrammed (or whatever it's called), or will the tuner take care of it all? Thanks guys!

The dash will not show the correct speed, programmer or not. It is made from Ford to automaticaly show a cpl mph faster then what you are actually going. I have a Gryphon and have tweaked it here an there to try and get the dash to match speed of Gryphon, but as far as I can tell its impossible.

The Gryphon will correct the dash speedo to what a dealer would do, which is normally 2-3 mph fast. I keep my mph on the tuner display and it is accurate as long as I put in the correct tire and gear size.
