Programmer for 2000 5.4L

I am looking for a good programmer for my truck and am leaning towards the Edge Evo, but want to be able to adjust for the fact that I have a K&N Cold Air Intake..

Is there a way to "tweak settings" for this or is it only meant for stock trucks?

P.S. im not waiting for a custom troyer tune as much as i would like one

Thanks
-Alex

Evo is for stock trucks but the 2000 does not have the lean issues the 04+ models can. Go to PHP and get the Gryphon which is the custom tune version. Custom is always gonna beat canned.

You can have the Gryphon programmer from PHP (just like the stock Edge) in just a few days and use the canned tunes while you wait for the custom tunes. That is what I am doing and am very happy with the canned tunes, so I cannot wait to receive my custom one's!!

oh i gotcha you receive the initial product while you wait for the tunes to be made then he emails them to you and you upload them yourself?

Precisely... They have a server, and when you order your Gryphon, you receive it with the stock "canned" tunes which you can use while Bill is making your custom tunes, and when your custom tunes are finished they put them on the server where only you can access them and download them right to your programmer through a USB cable that is supplied with the Gryphon. Check out their website (www.powerhungryperformance.com) and look at the order form. You have to include specifics of your truck and your location so that Bill can create your custom tunes to fit YOUR trucks needs. You can also tell him things like wanting it to downshift easily at high speeds for good passing power (just an example), and specifics that best fit your driving style and Bill will make it happen.

That is the only place to get a Gryphon and the price is VERY fair. You cannot go wrong with the Gryphon from PHP. (LOL I sound like a commercial advertisement)
