Superchips 5 program with ****???

has anybody used the superchips 5 program 4 bank perfromance chip yet?? its on Troyer Perfromance's site, and it features 4 custom tunes and retains your stock tune and all is accessible at the turn of a **** ON THE FLY. this is the one i want and dont think i can go wrong with it (i mean, come on, sounds great, 4 Troyer tunes AND ON THE FLY, perfect) but at the same time i am still curious on whether or not anybody else has used it and if its good. or if i would be better off going with a regular flash style tuner like the superchips cortex or max or something like that. so, thoughts on it? likes? dislikes? any info is greatly appriciated. thank you in advance

The only thing that turned me off to it was, if you ever need to get it updated, or, a new tune, you have to send it back to get calibrated.

I was looking at it myself and they (TP) advised that with my future mods in mind, a flash device would be better, because you will get the new tunes via email, opposed to having to ship the chip back to them.

I am pretty sure that with the X3 you can have more than 4 (they mention 10) tunes available, you just can't do it on the fly. (My X3 is coming soon)

If you are not planning on any future mods that may require a new tune, you will probably like it. It interested me for sure.

I also have the Cortex on my 08 Expy, and, am pretty happy with it.

thanks for the info. yeah, dont get me wrong, i would love to upgrade past what im going to buy here soon (as soon as that dang tax return comes), but other than adding a supercharger or a set of cams or heads or something kinda serious, i will be all caught up. and for one, i cant afford those. secondly, i really dont need them (yet). so i think that the superchips would be good for me then. the X3 looks good and all, but the only thing i dont like about the flash ones is that each one takes 5-15 minutes to download a new tune, where with this i can just turn the **** and drag race someone, and then when im done with that, turn it back and get best possible mileage. or hook up and tow something. and the other thing is that with the X3, you CAN have 10 programs, but you have to store the 7 on your computer. my computer is a POS, im sure it cant hold 7 programs, without deleting some things or crashing the POS.
