whats up guys this is a bad *** site. i just bought an 02 fx4 supercrew 5.4 104,000 miles in great shape but anyway i had my 1999 z71 with a custon tune and it flat out rolled. whats the best tune for my truck performance wise? ( heavy foot and towing)

 

I have the exact same truck with the EXACT same milage! *edit* oops i got the scab.... but i do have 104k on mine.

Welcome! I second the Gryphon as a great choice. There is also the Xcal3 tuned by Troyer Performancethat is excellent, if you have no interest in the gauges that the Gryphon provides. .

i am interested in the one with out the gauges... how much performance gains can i expect? any info is great help i need to get some more *** in this truck!!

 

#1: stop looking at the gains from diesel tuners you have a gas engine and you're gonna way less results


IF you run a good custom tune for 91/93 octane you'll gain about 25HP/TQ max, but your driveability will increase
