GET YOUR OBDII PORT COVER from PHP

Just got off the phone with a wonderful company in Canada, and by late next week, we should have some OBDII Port Covers which plainly state DO NOT REFLASH - CONSULT OWNER in stock and ready to sell! It looks like the price will be $5.00 (shipping included) or $3.50 if included with another order. For now, we will only have the YELLOW cover available (they didn't have the red ones that I really wanted... )

what happens if the PCM gets reflashed? If i take my truck to the dealer, i usually take the edge out and put it back to stock. If they reflash my computer, will my edge not work anymore?

We just talked about doing that on Friday, I think. The only issue we have is that we already include between $7-$10 worth of other free things with each purchase. This would add another few dollars. $12 bucks doesn't sound like much, but tomorrow I'm shipping NINETEEN programmers. It adds up fast! One of our customers just purchased THE SAME OBDII Port Cover for $14 with shipping (which is what led us to look into purchasing some). At $5 including shipping or $3.50 if purchased with another product, it's practically our cost.

Thanks for the suggestion, though!

When I ordered my SCT X3 from Troyer, there was one in the box. Is he still throwing that stuff in?

As you probably know their company is in no way affiliated with Troyer, they are actually competition, so how/ why would they know? I took this as being a smart butt comment and Im sure Im not the only one. Also if you ordered a Troyer tune and you got one what does it matter what PHP does????? They probably include that to make up for the 2-3 month delay and not having a digital read out of all your vital engine functions

i'm sure the cover would be more useful to the user than the other things,ie-a retune from php after dealer udates pcm w/o that cover in place, that cover could prevent this, especially for the user that forgot to go back to stock.

Then, Phil, when you are CFO of our company, you can implement this new strategy. Until then, I am the one who gets to make these executive decisions.

It's been a long time since you and I went toe to toe. Let's not go there. I have no time nor the inclination for a pi$$ing match.

Can we run in a tune without the Gryphon being plugged in. If so this is a great idea to have.

Yes of course, once the truck is "flashed" the Gryphon serves as a monitor only. It can be removed and the tune will remain.
