Just got done placing my order for a Gryphon. Ended up going with 87 performance and tow when I was planning on just going with the performance. But after looking at Drkharbinger's dyno charts I realized it probably wouldn't be a good idea to switch back and forth from the Edge tunes and custom tunes since I have a CAI and exhaust now.

Anyway, it will be nice to come back in town and have it waiting for me, I hope. What are the wait times for recieving the tunes nowadays?

It took around 6 weeks or so to get mine. Of course that was back in July. Well worth the wait.

So you didn't go with a performance tune huh? I've been running my 87 since I got it and finally loaded the performance tune 3 days ago and let me tell ya!!!! Looks like I'll be buying the BP 93 octane from now on.

Hey tide....ya orderd it finally. I saw you were talking about on the other site. I was wondering if you went with it yet or not. Let me know how it works out, I am still kickin the idea around but I am sure it will be . And oh yeah, tunage is definatley needed on our rides. You know, alot more people have realized that over here than on the other site.

I've never put any higher than 87 octane in my truck so I don't see the need for getting any tunes made for the higher octanes?

I didn't realize though how much the 93 changed it. Is it really that obvious?

I'm one of thoe people as well.

I've always said you don't have to get a custom tune but if you do get one it's much better. Well, that whole mind set changed after looking at your dyno sheets. It seems that with any CAI setup tunes are a must, custom one's of coure.

Yes. very obvious. I would say I notice it most in the shift firmness and throttle response.

Everytime I read how good the Gryphon tunes work, I feel like sending my Edge to get upgraded...can't really complian! It was a Christmas gift.Haven't had a chance to really drive my truck!

Congrats Tide...you're gonna be happy with it. the 87 perf seems stronger than the 93 canned. Now the hard part...the wait.
