new guy here

well i have a 2004 ford 150 fx4, i ordered a 2 1/2 leving kit along with 285/65/18 bfg a/t's, heres my question. which shocks will best for my setup? and should i put a block in the rear? also thinking about a chip or an edge system, what would be my best to go?

04 and up fords use a flash device,03 was the last yr a chip could be piggbacked on the pcm,i highly recommend a custom tuned xcal 3 sct tuner ,tuned by mike troyer,over 100k trouble free miles on my various 87 & 93 octane tunes, welcome aboard,phil

Go with the Bilstein shock's, with the 5100 series you can level the front up to 2 inches. If you use a leveling kit you can run the Heavy Duty Bilsteins front and rear or the 5100's at the stock height setting in the front. You can run the Edge programmer with the stock tunes and it wil do a good job or later get it re-badged as a Gryphon with the custom tunes and will do even a better job. It's up to you.
