Where did Troyer Performance go?

I don't see any posts with Troyer Performance talk anymore!!

I owned a 05 screw and had the Troyer tunes loaded on it and LOVED it. Now I just bought an 08 screw and was looking to add the Troyer stage 1 performance kit to it but it looks like everyone here is on the VMP bandwagon. I read that Troyer's waiting period for tunes are quite a bit more than VMP's so I guess some business went towards the quicker turnaround.

Is Troyer still a top notch tuner or has something changed?

You will get all types of opinions here, but regardless, VMP, Troyer and PHP are all good. Just depends on your willingness to wait for your tunes I guess. Myself, I went with Troyer cause I am about 3 hours away and if I have any issues, I can drive down to see Mike. I also do own a Edge (for gauges only) and I will be sending that to Bill at PHP so that I can see what his tunes are like.

Anyway, Mike does not post here as much as he used to, but he pops up from time to time. Give him a call and tell him what you want. I am sure he will take care of you.

Troyer is still a sponser of the site and posts occasionally. I suspect his tues are as good as ever. Yes, VMP and PHP both do good work as well. They are also site sponsers.

I blame their demise on a kid not even in his twenties who has back issue, and sold his truck for a Mustang

Well, you can't beat it when a groupie is giving out free t-shirts, steak dinners, & under pants.

But I suspect that the quality of Mike Troyer's tunes are still top notch. I doubt very seriously that his quality assurance department is letting him slip. As to why he isn't spending all of his time online posting in forums? Who know? Could it be that he's got better things to do.....like keep up with his workload? I still have every confidence in tuning by Troyer Performance.

Thanks for the input guys. I was just making sure that he was still in the game.

I was 100% pleased with his tunes and the Af1 I got from him for my 05 screw. I'll order and wait it out for the stuff for my 08.

Happy Thanksgiving guys.

the attitude on the message boards have changed, especially this forum, explains why he doesn't post anymore, and the countless of regulars who used to post as well...

I spent a lot of money and tried many tunes just to make sure I had what felt the best for me and a Troyer 93 max tow pushes my truck every day. All due respect to the big three, I believe if you work with any of them enough you will get the perfect tune. Just night not be the first iteration.

his posting drop substantially when the site was sold. That is a fact, look at how much he posted before it sold and then how much he posted after it sold.

considering his wait times , i dont think his business is hurting, all to often in business things change, at first you are upset then you realize latter it was the best thing that could happen.

Cool

HI!... MIKE's business is busier than it has ever been, hence why he doesn't post here as often as he used to. He's just too busy trying to keep up for the demand of his tunes.
