what is the gryphon tuner? just a question dont really know thanks guys

 

It is the same thing as an Edge Evolution. It actually comes with the same "canned" tunes as the Edge. The Gryphon is basically an Edge that has been re-badged so custom tunes can be loaded on to it. Custom tunes are specific to your truck and your mods. The "canned" tunes are for a generic stock F150.

 

One of the most awesome things ever. Like rednoved said though, it's a reworked edge that can have custom tunes loaded onto it. I absolutely love having it in my truck. Night and day difference, I love the way my truck drives. Search Google for Power Hungry Performance and read all about it on their website.

Blue jay, would it be worth it for me to get custom tunes? I dont have any mods other than a drop in k&n. I have an edge but I really like the new Metric option PHP is working on and the fact that they are alot more helpfull than the guy that e-mailed me from edge.

 

If you have a completely stock truck, there is a moderate benefit to going with custom tuning although they really help with things like a CAI kit.
