Super Chip for 06 FX4

I just installed the flashpaq in my truck. I switch from 87 octane to 93, I switched from regular motor oil to Quakerstate full synthetic, I change my shift points. I need to know what shift points work best and the shift pressures. Someone that had one, need info to get maximun power in my truck.

I have been using the SC VALUE lately. Except the shift from 1-2, I backed it down. I highly suggest buying a gatorback belt. My belt squeals during shifts, and it annoys the heck out of me. Have you downloaded the update software yet? If not, go to flashpaq.com and sign up. Then plug the flashpaq into your computer and put the latest firmware on it. It should have Data Acquisition, Advanced Data Acquisition, and a new tune file called Mileage XS.

a question about that??? I downloaded the flashpaq to my computer, and I installed the standard update. They had about 4 different items to download. Should I go back and try the other three. I just updated about a week ago. About your reply, I have my shift points all on superchip value and the pressures too.

When you get to the download screen where it says "These updates are available" It should have one that says "Data Acquisition AND Advanced Data Acquisition" It should be like the 2nd or 3rd one down. Download that one to your flashpaq and after it gets done unplug it, plug it back in and go back to the download screen, select the one that says "Mileage XS" download, and you are good to go. I would set the truck and Flashpaq back to stock before updating as a precaution. A lot of the shift pressure and firmness comes down to personal preference. I like my truck to kick into the next gear, but the SC Value for 1-2 gave me a haggard CLUNK in the rear end. All trucks are a little different, also I have a 4.6L and I think you have a 5.4? If so, I'm pretty sure your truck has a different transmission and rear end than my truck.

No problem, I have had my Flashpaq for almost 2 years. If you come across any more questions hit me up.

Superchip 1815 issue on 03 /F250

I just recently purchased a Superchip 1815 for my 03 F250. The other day after reflashing it to "safetow" the the engine would turn over but not start! I reprogrammed it back to stock and still no change. I finally had it towed to the Ford dealer. They told me that my Power Control Module had to be reflashed. My question is, could this have been caused by the Superchip or was this just coincidental? I am now afraid to try to use the SC fearing that it will not start again. Also, the dealer told me that the PCM that was in the truck was for an Expedition!!. Another question I have is.. I originally tried the Superchip on my 2000 Expedition, could the SC of somehow saved the settings from the Expedition and flashed my truck"s PCM with the Expedition's settings?
Should I just go ahead and try to reprogram the truck with the SC and will it be ok running with the PCM from an Expedition or will I have to buy a new PCM for the truck (not looking forward to that $$$$).
Any advice would be appreciated
