Question scan code po232?

Just hooked up Justin's Xcal3 to my '97 (tried calling him--no answer), followed the instructions, downloaded the stock tune, and uploaded the mpg tune, then said what the heck and checked for codes--it came back 1 found: P0232. What the heck is P0232?

Any ideas? I tried the search feature to find codes but there was some thing that said the site couldn't process my request. (?WTF?)

I had a problem with my mileage tune when I first got it too. Did you try to start the truck at all? Mine would start to stumble, and then re-gain itself, then stumble and die....so I left the 87 perf tune in there, emailed Justin, and he fixed it for me.

No, haven't started it yet--Haven't filled it since wife and daughter got back from MN before the school year started--been sitting on E for the last 2 1/2 months as I've been doing the other little things to it, watching the local gas prices come down. I've got other vehicles that work fine for me, so I can afford to let it continue to sit. From your reply, though, I guess I better bite the bullet and put some go-juice in it to run it around and see how it does. I've been waiting for my pacesetter armor-coat headers to arrive, as the size of the collectors will have some bearing on what size exhaust I do, and part of the tune was for no cats. Running it for a bit WITH them still on it won't hurt it, I guess, so I should give it a try.

In the meantime, ANYBODY KNOW ABOUT THAT CODE, AND WHAT (IF ANYTHING) SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT IT? FUEL PUMP HIGH VOLTAGE? IS MY FUEL PUMP GOING BAD? IS IT JUST "ONE OF THOSE THINGS?" IDEAS?

THANKS ALL

Have you googled it and see what it comes up with?? Call your local dealership, they should be able to tell you what it means....

What engine is it by the way?
