i have a diablo predator on an 04 f 150 having problems with it reading the truck after dealer reflashed (truck returned to stock first) contacted diablo blamed it on remote start (now removed same problem) anyone else with problems or anyone else running this programmer

 

Have you updated the device with a serial cable to the latest revision?

 

i did it 2 weeks ago hasnt worked since shipped it back today 2 week turn around + $100 to check it

 

It's because when the dealer reflashed it, the PCM strategy code changed. You needed to pull the new one with the tuner so it could communicate properly, at least that's how I think SCT tuners work and I'm guessing they're not too different.

 

i use the predator all the time, but never did what u did..i have never had a big problem with it...i wouldnt trade if for anything...no im not dissing the other ones just have no reason to switch

 

shouldn"t it pull new code when you download the back up program? it saves the stock and says reading 100% but thats as far as it goes they (diablo) think its loosing its signal from ignition any ideas after this happens you have to disconnect battery to get it to start again
