VMP wait?

Hey everyone decided to go ahead and order a custom tune from VMP via their website. got the order confirmation on Oct. 1, no tunes yet, not complaining the least bit just wondering if anyone has any figures on wait time from their own experiences lately. I've read there has been a surge of orders to vmp so times are being delayed a bit, I'm just to excited is all! can't wait till it gets here!!!!!!!!

I am also wondering the same thing. I ordered on 10/3 and was originally expecting about 2 weeks from what I had read. Maybe the surge in orders has backed things up a bit which is understandable. I am not complaining either, but if there is a new expected time table based on the order surge it would be good to know. One of the main reasons I went with VMP was because of the quicker turn around time. I am anxious but from the sounds of it custom tunes are worth the wait.

2 and a half weeks tops from the order date. That's what mine was, just got them yesterday, even when they were swamped with sales.

Yep he's a stand up guy and the company is awesome. He's a little swamped in sales at the moment so give it some time for an email reply etc.

So VMP not contacting you or replying to any form of communication is normal??

I mean what if there is a problem...is that their customer service??

They have a good rep in the past..just making sure they have not gone downhill...

My tune took 25 days from the time I ordered to the time I received it, I shot him an email last week, and apparently my order didn't get processed!!! So he got my info again and ran it through and shipped it ASAP. Stand up guy, who from what I've read will stand behind his product, hooked it up last night and the difference is remarkable, I am very pleased with the outcome!!!

I'm in the same boat. I emailed Justin right after placing my order a week and a half ago. My email was listing the mods to my truck so he could tune for them. I hope he got it. I sent it a couple of more times since then, and left a voice mail with my call back number, and still haven't had a reply at all.
Once you get your tuner from him, does it come with a different phone number to get ahold of him in case you need customer service for an issue? I can't imagine installing my tune, my truck going crazy, and not being able to get ahold of him for a week or two. This is my only vehicle and it is brand new. I was afraid to tune it in the first place, but now I just cant wait to tune this bad boy!
Justin, if you are out there, drop us a line and ease our minds brother!
Thanks,
Dustin Lomax, La Mesa California

I just got my UPS notification that my order is being shipped. I ordered from VMP on 10/3, got the ship confirmation on 10/16, and UPS says it is scheduled for delivery on 10/23. This puts my total wait time at about 3 weeks from order date to delivery date. Still very reasonable especially after the surge in orders people have been talking about. I am getting anxious now that I know it is on its way!
