XCAL3 or Livewire

How do I decide which one to get? Does the livewire display data such as current mpg, speed, or just what the picture online shows it displays?
I know there is a $200 difference in price, but what else should I factor into my decision.

The Livewire is a big unit. I would buy an x2/x3 w/ scangauge if you want some type of monitoring.

If you want something with gauges get the Gryphon from PHP. I like the gauges they come in handy when towing etc. It is a nice small compact unit and works great.

That's the best deal around for an XCal3 with custom tunes. Good tunes, good customer service and best of all it only takes a couple weeks to show up if that. Most of the time it takes less time than that.

It took 2.5 weeks from the time I hit Buy to the time it was on my doorstep. I got a 91 Performance, 91 Towing, and 87 Economy. I'm thinking about buying a 91 Economy though since it'd be better just to run 91 all the time, it'd probably be about the same cost as 87 MPG wise also. By the way 93 octane isn't available in my area so that's why I went with 91. The difference is crazy, all I've tried so far is the 91 Perf and it gave my truck an entirely different attitude. I made a thread with my thoughts on it, go check it out.

Sorry man, would love to tell ya how much, but it was on the truck when i bought it. To tell you the truth, I cant even find the hood online. All the hood has on it is "Ranch Fiberglass" and some serial number. It was part of the FTX package.

Arca_ex: Do you know if you are allowed to tow with any of the tunes, obviously the tow tune, but the performance or economy... I tow maybe a couple times a year and just didnt know if i would have to set back to stock or it is okay.
- If not sure i guess i can go to the Tuner section huh. lol
