decision on buying chip

what's the for price?

I'm really interested in edge evo but can't find a good price

Ps I have a 2004 5.4l f150 non heritage

Why not get something with custom tunes?

Get the Gryohon same as the edge but better and you get custom tunes contact Bill at PHP.

Why not custom tunes via a Xcal2 and Xcal3 from VMP or TP?

Agreed.
XCal tuners with custom tunes are the best choice IMO.

Bill sells the Gryphon which comes with canned tunes and he includes custom tunes when you know what you want.

true true but im not looking so much for more power or torque as much as better gas mileage

I really haven't noticed too much mpg gains with my tuner. Of course the novelty hasn't worn off yet and I still find myself pushin' that right pedal down more than I really need to.
