Broke my toe loading the truck to go to Indy, so we never got on the road.
Totally not in the plans...

could you PM or email me the price of a new pod? even if you don't sell them painted. Also, if it would be extra to ship it to me, or if you could just throw it in the box with the tuner when done with it. Thanks!
I'll be happy to ship it back to you with a shiny new pod. (Check your PMs for price).

PHP quick question.

i was home this weekend driving my dads truck. its an 08 supercrew that he had custom tuned by you guys. well i floored it when i got in it and it bounced off the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd. it was bouncing at the rev right over 5k. i know he had his shift points loosened up so it wouldnt be a jolt when the truck shifted so it this a problem with the tune or are the shift points to lose and taking to long to shift so its hitting the rev limiter? and he does not floor it so its not an issue for him i just want to make sure his engine or transmission arent at risk.

Did he increase his Max RPMs at least 400 over his highest shift point?

he didnt touch it as far as i know. i know he had changed shift points to not shift as firm before he got the custom tunes. but its bouncing off the rev limiter right over 5k. probly not even at 5100 rpm.

I misunderstood, did not know he had custom tunes. He needs to call Bill on it. He could go in and increase the Max RPM to about 5500 and see what happens. If the Max is not about 400 points higher than the shift point, then it causes havoc when the engine revs during the shift. There is a moment when the engine is like in neutral when it is between gears and it free revs.

If he is not shifting at WOT, should not have any affect at all.
