Question Turning it on!?

Tried to turn on my new (to me) Edge to no avail.
Turned the key to "ON", plugged the Evo in... nothing.
Unplugged it, waited 5 sec., plugged it back in... nothing.
What am I missing... or is this FUBAR? :o

TIA.

Dunno. Guess they did find it after all, and expedited it up here. Happier than a P.I.S., now if I can only solve this little mystery I got now...

Sounds like either a fuse is blown or you got boned ...

There is no dedicated fuse for the ODBII port, it's actually one for the cigarette lighter or a power outlet, I believe.

Noticed that I did not get the USB cable, little zip ties or the velcro shown in this pic either...
The pic addy says something about "...02z2005fordf150..." and the guy I bought it from has an '07.

I'm getting that lump in my throat again guys. Help.

Ok, I know nothing about these, but have you tried plugging it in, THEN turning on the key? Iono, just a thought.

Is that how you are supposed to do it? I know that is how the OBD2 scanners work/

Well... do you have a friend with an f150 you could try it out on theirs? Just make sure to put it back to stock before you take it out of their truck.

Also, Maybe unhooking the battery, then going through the start-up procedures THEN trying it?

Those are pretty much the only 2 things I can think of, and someone will probably say the second one is a lost cause.
