Gryphon Help!!!
Gryphon Help!!!
I have a gryphon with custom tunes from Bill. This morning when I started the truck the monitor didn't work properly. The tunes are working fine but the screen is unreadable. Any solutions to help me out. Its still monitoring all the functions of the PCM but I can't read any because the screen is distorted. The numbers are hard to make out!!!!

I tried unplugging and changing the contrast, but it looks like I will need a new monitor. When you first start up you can see black lines on the monitor. You can partly make out whats on the screen. I'll give Bill or Corey a call when they get back from vacation. I live in St. John's Newfoundland Canada so the temperature never goes over 75 degrees.
The reason you're having problems is obviously because you're in Canada and Customs breaks things so they have to be shipped back and forth at least 3 times before they work properly. This way they can charge you every time!
As you have already guessed, there's not a lot we can do while in FL but we will certainly get the unit replaced as soon as we get back in the office.
Incidentally, we generally do not have any problems with cold climates other than the recommendation that you do not initiate a programming session below 20ºF until the engine reaches operating temperature. We've had Canadian customers as well as Alaskan customers running with no problems so I doubt cold is the problem. It's probably just a random issue.
As soon as we get back I'll make sure Billy gets in touch with you quickly.
