your gonna LOVE your tunes. i did the exact same 3 tunes on my 07 4.6l. its a night and day difference. and the difference b/w the gas mileage and performance tune is even noticable. havent run 93 due to gas prices.

I think I may get the 3 87 tunes when I order mine. There is no way in hell I am putting 36 gallons of premium in my truck

you have to be nearly crying when you fill up that 36 gallon tank. its painful enough just to fill up my 30 gallons.

Usually you'll break even. I know I did when I used 93 octane in my truck. The mileage increase from using 93 octane made up nearly the whole difference. I was okay with spending like $2 or $3 more to get more performance.

At worst without even factoring in the increase in mileage since we don't really have a solid idea of what it'd be. It'd only be $7.20 per fill up more. Granted, it'd probably be cut in half by the increase of mileage so you're only looking at roughly $3.00.

Hmm so I may look into an 87 towing tune, and 87 performance, and a 93 performance then. Would that be the best option? I do tow a 3000lb boat plus 4 people with the truck. I would like the performance tunes for sure, but I do tow and do a lot of highway miles with my truck. What would you all reccomend? Thanks Jeeze I feel like a newb I guess I am compared to Thump! haha

I just don't think I would EVER use the 93 because I don't have a lowered truck I am trying to get all the power out of. I just need a boost of power. I mean how big of a difference is the 87-93 performance wise?

The difference between 93 and 87 is a few rwhp and rwtq. It's worth it, IMO.

How much weight do you tow? If it's not a lot than I'd say instead of getting a towing tune, get a mileage tune maybe. If not, just stick with the three tunes you picked, it'll be good. Trust me.

About the same as trading in that Glock for an old school .38 snub nose.

Hey I love that Glock because when you run out at 6rds I can keep going and then just slip in a fresh new 15rd mag or 33rd if I want to be a **** and keep shooting I think when I turn 21 I will be getting a S&W air-lite .38 or .357mag for clothing that requires extreme CC or if I need an ankle gun for the hell of it

Man EVERYONE is ragging on Glock tonight.

Thump, MAX would be around 4k lbs so maybe the 87economy, 87performance, and 93performance? If it really isnt that much more hp I will just get all 87 tunes since I don't want to run 93 anyways. Plus I can always order another tune if I want
