I wish I would of been able to make it out. The girlfriend just had surgery so she wasn't feeling up to it.

Looks like you had a good turnout.
Where at? Daytona Beach CC? It's a state college now !!

my scanner isnt working....

1st pull: Max Power = 230.54 Max Torque = 262.18
2nd pull: Max Power = 216.11 Max Torque = 273.79

The pulls were done with run conitions as the following:

1st pull: 105.79 F, 30.13 in-Hg, Humidity 15%, SAE 1.01
2nd pull: 105.60 F, 30.14 in-Hg, Humidity 15%, SAE 1.01

these are completely stock numbers. i wanted to get a base line of where the truck started at before i do mods.

Thumper...no I went to Embry-Riddle, at a pretty $34k a year (which I'll be paying for the next 20 years, lol). DBCC and Bethune-Cookman are the other two community/state colleges. It was fun while it lasted, and I still miss FL too. Any chance I get to travel down there for business I do, so I've been to Miami and Orlando twice the past year.

Midnight, those aren't too bad of numbers for stock and on a hot day, but how in the world was it not humid in the middle of August in FL, lol?...even here in north TX it's been 50-70% at times - even at 750'ASL.

thanks NTX. it wasn't that bad of a day to be honest. it was stupid hot and you couldn't stand the sun for very long but the humidity wasn't that bad on that day. I am completely happy with the results that i got from the two pulls. the truck runs extremely well and scoots around town nicely. i have plans to do a full bolt on set up with dyno tuning for a while once i get closer to the end of my warranty and once i get out of school i plan on doing a Whipple upgrade. I have seen guys pulling 13.6's with Whipple on SCREW's without any other modifications. so my plan is to get my regular cab flareside into the 12's. i think it is a very reasonable plan on the stock block and internals. eventually once i get my own place i will build the bottom end and the trans and crank up the boost.

I know what you mean about school being expensive. im up here in gainesville taking a full load at UF. $$$$$$$$

That would be an interesting project if you didn't have your own place, lol...imagine working on the pulled motor in the dorms - or better yet, in your parents' living room if you moved home after college.....totally j/k.

I'm curious, what times are you running stock in the quarter now? I haven't taken mine out on the track yet (busy on the REAL racecar at the moment) but I was wanting to compare numbers on my SCrew when I do. Will be a good real life comparison of the weight and driveline differences of the smaller truck.

the last time i ran the truck which was in may of this year, the truck ran low 16's. i only got one run in. i dont think the times would be able to be improved at all as i had no wheel spin and foot braked it from about 2500 rpm. the only thing that i could really do is drop weight or make more power to compensate for it. i think i heard from most guys that ran stock screws that they were running somewhere in the low 17's. but i could have miss read. i put my truck up on a cat scale around july or so. ill grab the weight from the truck later today. if i remember correctly it was like 600-700 pounds lighter than the screw.

post up what you get whenever you do run her on the track.
