xcal3 and gryphon

Is the only differance between the xcal3 and the gryphon the display screen on the dash? They both do the same thing? Can you download updates with both, or have to send them back in to get reflashed?

If they both do the exact same thing I'm leaning towards the gryphon because of the screen that goes on the dash cause it looks sweet and I can also check how the truck is running more effictivily.

I love my Gryphon and I enjoy the gauges.

I mean the guage pod. You can actually see how the truck is running vs. not being monitored at all with the xcal's.

So, is the only differance between the two the guage pod?
